PoE 3.2 Duelist Champion Builds
The Champion can be a defensive/support class which will act as a tank for their party by taunting and debuffing enemies, buffing their allies with an aura, or Intimidate enemies to lessen their defenses. They bolster their own defenses with Fortify, which includes the capability to permanently Fortify themselves, or get a burst of Adrenaline at low life for increased harm and defenses. The tree grants increased armour and evasion rating across the board to additional bolster their survivability also. In this Post, PoeCurrencyBuy Will share PoE 3.2 Duelist Champion Builds for you.

<>Unstoppable Hero>: No more extended grants increased Armour and Evasion Rating while you have Fortify. Instead of grants +1000 Armour and Evasion Rating while you have Fortify and Cannot Be Stunned while you have Fortify. The small passive leading to Unstoppable Hero now also increases Ailment Damage from Attack Skills while wielding a Melee weapon.
<>Fortitude>: The small passive leading to Fortitude now also increases Ailment Damage from Attack Skills while wielding a Melee weapon.
<>First to Strike, Last to Fall:> The small passive leading to First to Strike, Last to Fall now grants 14% increased Melee Damage, rather than 5% increased Attack Speed. First to Strike, Last to Fall now also allows Adrenaline for 20 seconds when you reach Low Life if you don't already have Adrenaline, and removes Ailments and Burning when you gain Adrenaline. Adrenaline grants 100% increased Damage, 25% increased Attack, Cast and Movement Speed, and 10% additional Physical Damage Reduction.
<>Inspirational>: Now grants you and nearby Allies 12% increased Movement Speed (up from 8%).
<>Conqueror>: Now grants 100% chance to Taunt on Hit (up from 25%), 2% of Life Regenerated per second if you've Taunted an Enemy Recently (up from 1%), and Enemies Taunted by you deal 10% less Damage with Hits and Ailments against other targets.
<>Worthy Foe>: No longer causes Enemies Taunted by you to deal 10% less Damage with Hits and Ailments to other targets. Now prevents Enemies taunted by you from Evading Attacks.
NO.1 [PoE 3.2 Build] Wrecker of Days - Super Tanky Trapper - Explained and Designed to Take New Players to the End
This guide is written with a focus on those new to Path of Exile. For those that aren't new, thanks for your patience with all the extra bits. I've tried to make this layout easy to skip to the relevant bits if you don't need the filler.
The reason that I write this part isn't so that you feel sorry for me. It's to explain why there are some aspects of my builds that are not maximized in a way that the general community would typically maximize their builds. So I look for build ideas that:
- Don't require much movement (or movement that I have to focus on providing).
- Don't have the emphasis on lots of specific button presses at particular times (like flasks).
- Don't require aiming with the mouse (console POE I can handle better because of analog aiming instead of mouse clicking).
- I can look away from the screen for a bit, still, deal damage, and survive (hopefully).
As limiting as that seems, this game provides endless character building options. Cast When Damage Taken, curses, skills that don't have to be aimed, life regen or dodge with Chaos Inoculation are all big help.
So build ideas (if you like them) are great for:
- New players.
- Players that don't want button mashing.
- Players that don't like having to move lots while fighting.
- Players that like attacking/casting with only one or two skills.
- Players that like a more laid back POE experience.
- Players with medical conditions (like epilepsy or those with physical limitations that are restricted in how they use keyboards or mice (to name a couple)).
- Players that don't want to stress about finishing maps in record-breaking time.
- Players that like the best builds ever made in the history of Path of Exile.
Pros:
+ cheap to maximize.
+ Can be used for Solo Self Found.
+ Perfect for new players. Easy to level, easy to afford, easy to survive, easy to kill, easy end game.
+ You only cast one skill. Everything else (except for flasks) is automatic.
+ It clears maps quickly.
+ Excellent movement speed while watching enemies take damage hands-free.
+ Can take and give good damage.
+ Reflect Damage doesn't affect you at all.
+ You can run any map mod in endgame except one. (You need mana regen.)
Cons
- Slow boss killer.

NO.2 [PoE 3.2 Build] Lifting's Uber Lab Warchief Totem Champion
This is an uber lab farming build, not a build for bossing / mapping (if you read the title). Totem survivability isn't an issue because if a totem is dying to zero its dying whether you're playing chieftain or champion either way. So the extra totem durability as chieftain gives you nothing. If you know how to properly do uber lab and have a right amount of experience in it, you know how to dodge Izaro abilities and should not be taking much of any damage while totems tank for you.
So the leech from Chieftain should be irrelevant; especially since most deaths to Izaro are typically fast 1-2 shots where a bit of extra leech will not do much of anything to prevent it. Lastly, champion after the changes is far more OP/broken than chieftain is. Chieftain for Warchief totems would be better suited to mapping.
The Poe 3.2 changes that matter for us are:
+ 100% Chance for our totems to taunt (up from 25%) = More reliable and safe now.
+ "Enemies Taunted by you cannot Evade Attacks" --> 100% chance to hit against taunted enemies. This means we no longer need Resolute Technique and can thus save that point for more life or damage.
This also works for totems.
+ 1000 to armor and evasion while we have Fortify.
+ Inspirational's movement speed buff is now 12% (up from 8%)
+ Cannot be stunned while you have fortified.
+ A few buffs to "damage with ailments from attacks while using a melee weapon."
- Fortify no longer grants 30% increased melee damage for us."
Without Resolute Technique, the build can now crit, but only at a 5% chance. This doesn't mean much regarding damage, but it does provide a small indirect buff via Kondo's Pride that has 30% chance to blind on crit. It won't be useful for regular monsters, but it might provide an extra edge against bosses who will get hit by our totems multiple times.
The leveling priority of Ascendancy points has changed to Conqueror --> Worthy Foe --> Unstoppable Hero --> Fortitude.
Overall a substantial buff for this build in 3.2. No significant changes are required.
Pros:
- Beginner and new league "friendly" - the build is straightforward in design and execution.
- Budget-friendly. Start with rare items and upgrade to the suggested unique items once you can afford it.
- Easy and fast to level.
- Very tanky.
- Permanent Fortify & Onslaught.
- High life regeneration, making labyrinth traps easier to deal with.
- Your totems can taunt, making bosses much less dangerous.
- Good for farming Uber lab, Atziri and Guardians. A shaper is doable too if you upgrade from Kondo's Pride to Starforge.
Cons:
- Some people don't enjoy the "totem playstyle."

NO.3 [PoE 3.2 Build] Frosty Duelist - Dual Swords & Frost Blades
Uber lab is a breeze and can quickly do a full party carry. Atziri is comfortable but needs care because of reflect in the split stage.
As a duelist in Harbinger, I completed Uber Atziri (not deathless though), guardians and Shaper.
I completed 40 challenges in both Harbinger and Legacy using the duelist version.
As a scion in Abyss, Asardial has all guardians, shaper and red elder done using two Ahn's might (His gear is on page 18).
Now outdated and I will remove soon, but in the bottom spoiler, I've put gear and pricing at various stages of 3.0 to give a rough idea of what I did. I openly admit to bargain hunting :) and the 'total prices' allow for selling my old gear.
Champion vs. Scion. DPS is roughly the same; Champion is Tankier, Scion is the more natural league starter as it gets more resists and life from the tree and can get the bonus from slayer or inquisitor. Scion now needs accuracy on gear to keep up the DPS with champion though. In short, both have their merits and downsides.
Easy to level and play with good evident speed.
Medium Price build that can be expanded as far as you want (or have the chaos to do :).
178% life (more easily possible), leech and regen or Vaal pact
The wrong side is that it is very gear dependent and uses plenty of rares including for the weapons so you will want the path of building for working out late game gear. It's also hard to balance resists.
3.2 Quick Changes
Champion got a pretty huge buff and looked great!
Gladiator doesn't compare to this build anymore (more block chance but less other defenses and A LOT fewer DPS so, for the most part, I took gladiator discussion out (in sections marked outdated).
Really like this build. Thanks for sharing it. Used it to revive my first ever always-dying duelist character. When I followed this build, he went from 83 to 88, really snappy. Can't decide if assassin's mark is better than frostbite for bosses. UPDATE - now 90. Considering that I play carelessly, actually suicide-reckless, that's amazing. He's just so fast it doesn't matter if I die.

NO.4 [PoE 3.2 Build] Champion TAUNTBOT aura bot support
PoE is no exception. I have played Support at least once in every league that I played, ranging from the famous NecroBots to Occultist Cursebots, GuardianBots, to ScionBots, to ChampionBots. Yep, you heard me, A Champion aura bot. More specifically, THE MANLY TAUNTBOT.
The build is very:
* Very Tanky (~88% Phys damage reduction, 5.7k ES, 84% elemental resistances, 75% chaos resistance)
* Can Intimidate PERMANENTLY (a debuff that causes the affected target to take 10% increased attack damage)
* Takes mob angry away from your hitters (you spam taunts, more on the reason why below)
* level 22-28 buffs
* 10 Auras, 1 Curse, 2 Vaal Hastes, 1 Vaal Clarity
* As an aura bot, not expensive to start and be effective
* People love you.
* Piety loves you.
you are not:
* Not Chaos damage proof. You will die of poison and chaos damage (not a Shav's build)(we have a solution for that)
* Not built for speed clears, so you will maybe struggle to keep up. (we have an answer for that)
* Tooltip warriors will doubt your Aura capabilities
* Endgame gear can be very EXPENSIVE because of Enlightens and Empower
* Not a Necrobot, or should I say Scionbot (the top aura bot for speed clears IMHO)

NO.5 [PoE 3.2 Build] Champbot: Champion Support
This build was created in Standard reasonably unsuccessfully in 2.5. The patch notes for 2.6 included a sizable buff to Victario's Influence. I think the optimal way to use it would be a Champion to still have survivability. The additional buff to The Vigil forced my hand into this meme build.
Besides the fact that sometimes when I join a party looking for support, I get kicked, I would say this has been successful. I was in high demand from folks who mapped with me. I will happily stand next to any build you can think of if you message me in the game to give a demo/screenshot.
As of 3.2, it is safe to say at least this is not a meme build. The Champion and taunt buffs are real.
When you are just getting to maps, you can link up Anger, Wrath, Hatred, and Discipline/Grace up. This assumed you have 18% reduced from the tree, Victario's, Conquerer's Efficiency, and an Alpha Howl. I wouldn't start cutting your HP with Prism Guardian until you get the passive points under your belt for further reductions.
