[POE 3.6 Witch] Best Synthesis Death’s Oath Blight Occultist Build (PC,PS4,Xbox) - Tankly, Fast Mapping, Farm Uber
Apply a debuff to enemies in front of you which deals chaos damage over time. Enemies who aren't already debuffed by Blight are also hindered for a shorter secondary duration, slowing their movement. Continued channelling adds layers of damage to the debuff, each with their own duration.
This build use Blight + CWC ED + DO for single target. And leave the weapon choice upto you guys. Using wand+shield over the Grey Spire means less damage, no +4 max res, BUT about +1.5k ES, arctic armor and one more spot to get res, stats/focus crafts.

Pros
- + Pretty fast map clearer.

- + Can farm uber lab comfortably. (Some dodging required, can't facetank everything)
- + Can do any map mod. (No regen is annoying)
- + Minimal effort required to play.
Cons
- - T16+ bosses need gameplay. Dmg is decent but can't facetank everything due to limited ES recovery mechanics. (Chimera is cancer with rippy mods)
- - Strength hungry, need to prepare to get 180 str for DO.
Playstyle
Walk through maps to clear them. We clear T16 just by walking. Maps with % more monster life and chaos res take slower walks and some blight casting on rares.
You should be casting Blight every 6-8 seconds anyway to keep 'Infused' up from the Infused Channeling support gem for 10% more damage. Flask management is important so you can keep Witchfire Brew up. Flame dash often enough to keep arcane surge up.
For T16+ bosses, you need to avoid rippy map mods and facetanking.

This build focuses on the chest piece Death's Oath:
It has an in-build chaos degen aura that you support with 6 support gems.

We scale DO dmg by the following ways:

The Aspect of the Spider aura from Fenumus:
<>Crystal Belt>
You can craft this a suffix on any non craftable piece of gear at the blood altar in your Menagerie. All you need is Fenumus, access to beastcrafting and a free suffix. It provides an aura (Aspect of the Spider), which reserves 25% mana (by default) for an aoe debuff that slows enemy movement speed by 30% and hinders them every second. Also applies 1 "spider web" per second for 6 seconds which increased dmg taken by 5% (stacks 3 times).
We use Blight along with the Blight threshold jewel Spreading Rot to apply wither and hinder.

We get reservation, area and aura nodes on the tree to shove in 5 auras and buff Death's Aura dmg.
Can do any map mod. Swap in a mana flask for no regen ones.

Look for the highest global dmg and max res roll.
Budget option: Dark seer/Breath of the council with an es shield.

Helmet: Eber's Unification
Has in build skill Void gaze which triggers on using any skill (2 sec cd, 10 sec duration)
gives enemies affected by it -20% chaos res.
Look for max es roll.
BIS - 40% Blight dmg.
Budget option: Anything with ES, res, dex, str.
Another option is to get a fossil crafted helm with -9 chaos res. If you can get one with 300ES or so it should be worth the swap.
Chest: Death's Oath
Core item. Don't need it 6 linked. Check how to 5 off colors further below.
Gloves: Allelopathy
Level 22 in-built Blight, pretty great for CWC ED.
BIS - +2 duration gems corruption.
Boots: Sorcerer Boots
Look for high ES, MS and resists.
BIS - Regenerate 2% of Life and Mana per second if you were Hit Recently.
Budget option - Sin Trek, Doryani's Delusion.
Amulet: Solstice Vigil
No mana reservation for Temp chains. Shaper's Presence, increases duration of Vaal Discipline, Infusion, Arcane Surge on you.
Look for max damage roll.
Budget option: Anything with ES, res, stats. Look for free prefix to craft % max es.
Belt: Crystal Belt
Crystal belt is the best base. Alternatively, you may use a darkness enthroned with two abyss jewels with 35+ flat es and % dmg if killed recently mods for a decent chunk of dmg and similar ehp has a rare belt. However a rare belt allows you to get str and res since you have limited slots to get them.
Look to craft 20% increased damage or % life regenerated during flask effect.
Rings: Moonstone & Sapphire Ring
As much ES, res and strength as you can get. DO needs 180.
Look for free prefixes to craft faster start of ES recharge.
Aspect of the Spider
Can be beast craft as a suffix on any rare gear if you have Fenumus.

Get a combination/subset of chaos dmg, damage over time and Non-Ailment Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier mods.
Spreading Rot, Spreading Rot (Corrupted)
You want x2 of these. Look for max % chaos dmg roll. Allocate them wherever as long as you have 40 int in the radius (the int does not have to be allocated).
'Cannot be cursed with silence' and 'Corrupted blood cannot be inflicted on you' are desirable corruptions.
If you have one Watcher's Eye. Remember to use clarity with it if you do. (Level 1 clarity is fine)
Leveling Guide
I suggest levelling with Essence Drain and Contagion, since they benefit from all the dmg over time nodes we already take.
ED Links -> ED > Efficacy > Swift Affliction > Controlled Destruction (Void manip. and Empower are your 5th and 6th links should you choose to get them)

Don't rush the change to CI, you need decent ES gear to have good ehp once you do switch. You can pretty much farm any content with ED/cont, so stick to it, till you get DO with the right colors and decent ES gear to get around 5k ES. You can import your char into PoB and check how much ehp you'd get after the switch.
You will need to about respec 21 points, less if you choose to not get as many life nodes.
