Poe 3.2 Templar Inquisitor Builds
Path of Exile Inquisitors focuses on elemental damage. They can, among other things, specialize in critical strikes, elemental penetration or buffing themselves with the consecrated ground. Most of their skills are compatible with both attacks and spells. In This Post, We will share Three Poe 3.2 Inquisitor Builds for you.
- [Poe 3.2 Inquisitor Build] Glacial Cascade Totem Inquisitor
- [Poe 3.2 Inquisitor Build] Clear All Maps Frostbolt Inquisitor Build
- [Poe 3.2 Inquisitor Build] Crit Incinerate CWC Ball Lightning Fire Burst Inquisitor Build
NO.1 [Poe 3.2 Inquisitor Build] Glacial Cascade Totem Inquisitor
I think Harness the Void might be the single most ridiculous Ascendancy node I've seen so far. People familiar with the mechanics of conversion and the "gain an extra" are aware of how high that node is for Phys to Ele skills like Glacial Cascade. The wording of Non-Chaos as Chaos leads me to believe that it will work with both converted and post-converted damage which is just insane for the build.
That exact mod with that exact wording already exists on elder amulets, and it does double dip in the way you're talking about this. So unless the 3.2 patch notes have a fix for this, yes, trickster will be the most OP shit in the game.
3.2 Updates:
Inquisitor remained relatively untouched. The skills, gear, and jewels remain the same while a few new items now appear as alternatives for the build. The Glacial Cascade Totem Inquisitor is still alive and well and will be a great choice for a league starter and remains all content viable in Bestiary League.
Added Atziri's Reflection to Shields Section
Added notes about Hierophant vs. Inquisitor in Questions section
Attached snapshot of my final Gear at the end of 3.1 Abyss League in the Gear Section.
Pros:
+ Do it all. Any map mod. Any boss. If you want to fill out your atlas and see all the content in the game with one character, then this is a good build play.
+ Safe. Totems by nature are safe because of distance and reflect going to Totems instead of the Templar. On top of that Glacial Cascade is a vast + area of effect spell that freezes.
+ Mind over Matter. Safe, MoM is one of the best defensive Keystones and is straightforward to gear for this.
+ Beginner and League-Starter friendly. Leveling, mapping, and progressing the build feels smooth.
+ Huge Single Target Damage. Ascending into Inquisitor allows us to ignore resistances. Smart swapping of Skill Gems will enable us to stack “More” multipliers. On top of that, the mechanics of Glacial Cascade can hit the same enemy more than once with the same cast.
Cons:
- Totems are not for everyone. Players seem to love or hate them. That said, this version of Totems can be a lot more “active” than other - - totem builds. I obviously love Totems and maybe you will too after playing this build!
- Have not personally tested Hardcore. Some people on this thread have mentioned in the guide taking the build to hardcore with a tree that is modified to pick up Scion life and drop the Shadow crit area.

NO.2 [Poe 3.2 Inquisitor Build] Clear All Maps Frostbolt Inquisitor Build
Most of the time, you cast your Frostbolts and use Whirling Blades to follow them. Thanks to the vast range, you don't get damaged at all. If you do get Damaged, you leech your Life and Mana back. Mind over Matter makes the build pretty tanky.
I started as Freezing Pulse, but Frostbolt is infinite times better. Bosses below Tier 16 are dead in seconds, so you don't care about the freeze. Also for the fight with guardians and shaper, you want to keep your distance.
I played the build, and I did not like the single target. Survival also found it weak, the char movement is not right, at least on t13 maps, probably on low-level Maps should be better.
What changed in 3.2?
Nothing. Inquisitor is just as good as always. We have to replace some of the abyss items though. (Will undoubtedly update after patch notes, if necessary.)
Replacements:
- Mutewind Whispersteps instead of Bubonic
- Cobalt Jewels with HP, Mana & Crit Multi instead of Abyss Jewels
- Rare Leather Belt with HP & Res instead of Darkness Enthroned
- Rathpith Globe instead of a unique shield, since you should have enough resistances now
- Skin of the Loyal with an Empower level. 3+
So what did we lose?
Only about 6% of our EHP, since a rare belt doesn't provide mana.
Pros:
+ cheap
+ 1Mill DPS
+ 8k+ eHP
+ fairly safe & fast play style
+ easy to aim skill
+ league starter & endgame viable
Cons:
- reflect maps are a pain
- proximity shields are annoying
F.A.Q.
Q: Why are you not using *insert random item*?
A: Not worth it. Either too expensive, low dmg or no HP.
Q: How much mana do I need?
A: Your HP * (3/7) = how much mana you need.
Q: Hardcore viable?
A: Probably.
Q: Why do you use that shitty shield?
A: Bought it like that. Cheap. Gems are for plebs.
Q: Why do use say 'it's cheap' when you're using *insert random endgame item*?
A: I cleared corrupted maps up to tier 15 on 1c gear. Until then you should've some currency to get decent gear. It's still relatively cheap, considering that you can clear all endgame bosses.
Q: How's the single target?
A: There's no difference between bossing and mapping regarding damage. We are not using GMP or any on kill effects. Frenzies and Vaal Haste are optional and meant to increase your mapping speed since the Damage is already more than enough.
We use uniques and abyss jewels to get this damage output.
Q: Why do you use Elemental Focus?
A: Originally I was playing with a Hypothermia + Ice Bite setup, but it felt inconsistent after tier 15. This Build tried Elemental Focus + Cold to Fire, which resulted in much higher damage output.
Also, you don't freeze bosses after tier 15 anyway.

NO.3 [Poe 3.2 Inquisitor Build] Crit Incinerate CWC Ball Lightning Fire Burst Inquisitor Build
This build geared dependent on working, but it uses underappreciated skills and enables you to Facetank most of the game's content. The concept is simple; ES gained on hit, Life gained on hit with spells, tons of hits, tons of fire burst procs, tons of damage.
Mandatory items:
Cooldown Recovery items
Because of how many things rely on trigger cooldowns in this build, it's somewhat relevant to get cooldown recovery boots and belt. Clear, cooldown recovery affects;
- CWC cooldown
- Fire Burst cooldown
- CWDT cooldown
- Ball Lightning's hit per second per target cooldown
Crit Chest
Getting a crit chest is quite crucial since incinerate has no base crit chance.
Fire Burst wand or scepter
That is an integral part of your damage.
Life gained on hit with spells rings
That is ALL of your life sustain. Preferably having one of those rings with assassin's mark on hit as well. (I got mine for three Poe Exalted Orb so please don't post about how this is unobtainable lol)
ES gained on hit Watcher's eye
That is ALL of your ES sustain
Ball Lightning helm enchant
Not quite as mandatory, but useful for high-end boss kills.
